Design4Africa is your Web Host & Email Service Provider, managing your Domain & Web Storage for your website. When we onboard you as a new client—whether it’s for website design, domain registration, web hosting, or any other service like logo design or social media management—we create an internal account for you. During this initial onboarding, we always ask for your full name and a public email address, such as a Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook address. This free and permanent email is used to send you quotations, invoices, and payment reminders, and we call it your Contact Email Address. If we’ve created a new domain email for you (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za), you’ll need to set a password for it. Follow these steps to do that!
How to Create a New Password for Your Domain Email.
Step 1: Go to your contact email inbox—the public email address you gave us during onboarding (e.g., your Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook account).
Step 2: Look for an email from your domain’s cPanel notifying you that your new domain email (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za) has been successfully created.
Step 3: The email will tell you to create a new password at the provided link. Click that URL to proceed.
Step 4: You’ll be taken to a new page, likely titled "Set Your Password" or "Create Password." Enter your new password in the first field. Make it strong, like Password$25, which uses a capital letter, small letters, a symbol ($), and at least two numbers.
Step 5: In the second field, retype the same password (e.g., Password$25) exactly as you entered it in Step 4. Click the blue Save or Change Password button.
Step 6: If it’s all correct, you’ll see a confirmation message with a green background saying your password was successfully saved. Done!
Notes for Success
- In Step 2, the email should arrive instantly, but if you don’t see it in your contact email inbox, check your spam/junk folder right away. If it’s still not there, wait up to 15 minutes, as some email services (like Gmail) may delay delivery.
- In Step 4, if your password isn’t strong enough, you’ll see a red error message. Add more letters, numbers, or symbols (like in Password$25) until it works.
- In Step 5, both password fields must match perfectly, or you’ll get an error. Double-check before clicking Save.
How to Access Your Domain Email After Setting the Password
Your new domain email (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za) is ready to use! The simplest way to check your emails is through the webmail interface on any phone or laptop browser. Here’s how to get started.
Steps to Access Your Domain Email
Step 1: Open a browser (e.g., Chrome or Safari) on your phone or laptop. Type webmail.yourdomain.co.za (replace "yourdomain.co.za" with your actual domain) into the address bar and press Enter.
Step 2: You’ll see a page with a bright orange Webmail logo and fields for "Username" and "Password." Enter your full domain email (e.g., info@yourdomain.co.za) in the "Username" field.
Step 3: In the "Password" field, type the new password you created (e.g., Password$25). Click the blue Login button.
Step 4: You’ll land in your inbox, where you can view and manage your emails. You’re all set!
Notes for Success
- In Step 1, type webmail.yourdomain.co.za exactly as shown—any typo will stop the page from loading.
- In Step 3, if the login doesn’t work, double-check your password. If you’ve forgotten it, click here to learn how to reset your domain email password.
