To ensure maximum security and privacy for your business, we do not manage passwords or access for your individual employees. Each of our clients is a separate entity, and for your protection, all mailbox management must be handled internally by the website owner.
At Design4africa, all our clients have a primary administrative mailbox: admin@your-domain.com. (Note: Please replace "your-domain.com" with your actual domain name).
This administrative account gives the website owner full control to manage their company's email system without needing our involvement.
1. How to Log In for Management
To manage your staff accounts, use the management link below. This is for the owner only.
- cPanel Mailbox Management Link: cpanel.your-domain.com
- Username: admin@your-domain.com
- Password: (Your administrative password)
2. What You Can Do
Once you have logged in to your cPanel server and clicked on Email Accounts, you can perform the following tasks:
- Create New Mailboxes: You can set up new email addresses for new staff members as long as you are within your package limit.
- Manage Forgotten Passwords: If an employee forgets their password, you can log in and set a new one for them immediately. For security reasons, we cannot reset employee passwords for you.
- Suspend Accounts: You can instantly block an account from sending or receiving emails. This is useful for security or during staff changes.
- Manage Storage Space: You can increase or decrease the amount of disk space (quota) allocated to each staff member's mailbox.
- Delete Mailboxes: You can permanently remove an email account.
- Warning: Deleting a mailbox will permanently erase all emails stored in that account. This data cannot be recovered.
3. Mailbox Management vs. Sending/Receiving
It is important to use the correct link for the task you want to perform:
- To Manage Mailboxes- Use this cPanel link: cpanel.your-domain.com [This is where the owner creates manages domain email accounts and resets staff passwords.]
- To Read/Send Emails- Use this Webmail link: webmail.your-domain.com. [This is where you and your staff log in daily to use your domain emails.]
Note: Please keep your administrative password safe. Anyone with access to the admin@your-domain.com login has the power to manage or delete any mailbox on your domain.
